Last Saturday

I love going to the beach during the off season, when the crowds have dispersed and/or returned home. There's something about a deserted beach that is particularly lovely, so when Jiyoung asked me to go to Corona del Mar for his art project, I couldn't say no. The Santa Ana winds were going on at the time, which gave everything a Los Angeles worthy haze of sunshine and dust. If it were not for the fact that both of us had a lot of homework to do, it would have been nice to go swimming. Instead we grabbed an early lunch at the Lemonade that opened up at Fashion Island before heading home.     ohh pretty!! haven't been to the beach in so long.. i need a tropical getaway!!

    lol i think presents from a father are very different from a husband.. my parents haven't never gifted me w/ diamonds before.. and i'm sure when we have kids.. the diamonds from the hubs will stop as well hahahaha!

      I would love a tropical getaway too. Your husband is so doting, the diamonds probably won't stop for you. (You guys will be amazing parents!)

      I know what you mean! I only live a few miles away from the beach, but I rarely go. Probably has something to do with how quickly I get sunburned.

      How young were you when you read it? I'm in the middle of the book and so far, it's kind of creepy. It would've scared me, if I had read it when I was little.
