High School Recap

Playing: Aviation High-Semi Precious Weapons
Reading: The Iraqi Friends We Abandoned by Kirk W. Johnson
Left to Right: Cliff, Joshua, me and Alex
So much has happened and so quickly too. Thought I'd catch you guys up on the last month of high school. I went to prom and chose to go short (again) with my dress because a) I fell in love with this Dolce and Gabbana dress over six months ago and b) long dresses aren't a standard in SoCal. I went with my friend, Alex, with a big group of people. Up above, you see what I title "Admiration" in which three of my best male friends simultaneously propose to me.
Left to Right: Clare, Linh, me and Simi
For the last week of school, the student government group hosted a bunch of senior only activities. Since it was my last week, I felt kind of nostalgic and decided to be more involved at school and showed up to our own color festival. Some person tossed a handful of blue powder at me, so I went around like an abnormally large smurf for most of the festival.
The day before graduation I hosted a bonfire with my friend, Simi. We spent the majority of our time playing an easier version of volleyball, roasting corn, and burying friends before the tide washed them away. We even tried the whole silhouette photo thing, which didn't work out as well as I had hoped for because you can still see what colors we're all wearing. However, I think the 90s girl group pose more than makes up for it.
Left to Right: Tina, Clare, Simi, Linh and me
Lastly, I graduated two days ago. Graduation wasn't as big of a deal as I thought it would be. For the most part, I found it rather long and stretched out. The speeches were cliche and/or juvenile and no one knew when to toss the cap, so my whole row tossed it before graduation was over, causing us to hit several students in the head. Afterwards, we ran off to grad night, which is basically an after party held at school until five in the morning. That was pretty fun. I'm off to Japan this weekend, so  I don't know if I'll have access to a computer. I may update on this blog, but I'm not entirely sure yet. If you want to see how my Japan trip is going down though, follow me on Instagram @this_is_audrey. I'll be updating a lot there.

other plans

Playing: Doses and Mimosas-Cherub
Reading: Turandot by G.Adami and R. Simoni
Originally, I was supposed to go to Coachella to see the Drowners. However, my Coachella plans fell through pretty quickly. Consequently, when I heard they were going to be at the Observatory, I begged my parents to cut our New York trip short so that I could meet them. Lead singer Matthew Hitt is one of my favorite male models and I brought him a copy of my favorite novel, The Catcher in the Rye, which happens to be one of his favorite novels too. (Who knew? He even quoted it.) When guitarist Jack Ridley III heard I flew back from New York to see them and that I might be moving there, he told me I could hang out with the band, which is an offer I'm hoping is semi-serious.
In other news, it's been over a hundred degrees in SoCal for the past few days. Coupled with the fact that I'll be spending a month roaming Japan, I figured I needed a few skirts to flesh out my summer wardrobe. This white skirt from bar iii is really light and I like the curved seam going across the front. Since Macy's was having a crazy 25% off everything sale, I also got this Marc by Marc Jacobs backpack for college.
Left to Right: Sarah, me, Tina and Christine
Like I said before, it's been unbearably hot lately. Therefore, after our AP Gov test, I took off to Crystal Cove with Sarah, Tina, Christine, and Sophie. The AP Gov test only took up three class periods, but the attendance office excused us for tutorial, fourth period and lunch too, so we had almost two hours to go to the beach and celebrate the near end of our AP testing. Definitely a sporadic trip, but I guess that's what made it so great too. Other than Christine, we're all moving out of SoCal for college and it's kind of sad to know that we'll no longer be able to go to the beach whenever we feel like it. Seriously though, how much more stereotypically SoCal can this trip get and how are we gonna survive without this?

change of seasons

Playing: I Wanna Get Better-Bleachers
Reading: The Transformation of Bartholomew Fortuno by Ellen Bryson (Kind of getting tedious.)
Sorry that it's been over 20 days, since I last blogged. I thought about deleting my blog for awhile and couldn't make up my mind, but I'm back with some posts for all of you. Going along with my current love for oatmeal topped with a crap load of berries, I ordered Mona's Breakfast at Haute Cakes with poached eggs rather than egg whites because obviously the yolks are the best part. Even though I think I am capable of making decent oatmeal, Haute Cakes hands down makes the best oatmeal. It's fluffy, creamy, and comes with a ton of fruit. Also, the poached eggs with spinach and salsa verde was very good (and healthy?).
If you live in Southern California, I highly recommend visiting the Flower Fields in Carlsbad, Calif. It's incredibly beautiful and all of the flowers looked like something straight out of a Tim Burton movie (he already did this in Big Fish). Oh and to play into stereotypes, this is how I imagined the Netherlands would look like in elementary school minus the palm trees.
I also did some shopping in my time away (what a surprise!). Here are my recent purchases: a Helmut Lang t-shirt, Zara sweatshirt, and an Aqua puffy coat. My style definitely wavers between being edgy casual and being completely gaudy with tons of sparkles and dangly earrings. It's kind of ridiculous how I'll show up one day in jeans and Converse with a leather jacket and then the next day I come in teetering in heels with a short skirt and glittery necklaces layered around my neck.
I also bought a pair of nude heels for my upcoming prom to go with my D&G dress. I was originally planning on a teal or maroon pair, but then realistically, I would never wear those again, so I went with a safe pair of nude heels from BP. They're actually really comfortable from all of the times I've worn them out and about so far. In my opinion, they also look more expensive than they actually are. I'm sorry for being gone for so long and will start catching up on all of you wonderful blog posts. I feel like I've been out of the loop for such a long time.

here and there

Playing: Every Day-Magic Man
Reading: The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
As of right now, I still don't have much to blog about other than the fact that I'm considering becoming a professional concert attendee. (Besides becoming a music journalist, is there a way to actually do that?) I have also discovered the joy of online shopping, which led me to this purchase. I saw the black Fumo clutch from Alexander Wang at Barney's Co-Op and decided I needed one, but then I opted for the maroon Fumo instead from the Alexander Wang website.
Lately, I've  been getting tired of my collection of oxfords, so I decided to add two pairs of what my grandfather has termed "cow kicking shoes" in Chinese, which is I'm guessing his way of saying kickass. Both the boots and cutout flats are from Topshop and so far, they're both pretty comfortable. While they were quite a bit more expensive than I was willing to pay, I'm really glad that I got some shoes to give my Reed Krakoff and Alexander Wang shoes a break.
Other than the joys of online shopping, I've also gotten into the joys of online baking. I really like Chelsea's Messy Apron so far because all of the photos make the food look amazing and the recipes are all super easy. Rather than doing my calculus homework the other day, I tested out her recipe for a Cinnamon Roll Skillet Cake. It was really easy to follow and I finished it in less than 30 minutes. Plus, it makes a great snack/breakfast.
I also celebrated holi over the weekend with my friends, Jessy and Hannah. Holi, which is also known as the Festival of Colors, is basically a celebration of spring arriving and it's a holiday in which you can forgive and forget. However, I only celebrated the part in which you toss colored pigments around and listen to music. It was pretty fun at first until you realized how uncomfortable it was breathing in all the powder that was in the air. (Also, I ruined all my clothes and my body limbs were stained purple for two days afterwards.) I would recommend trying it at least once, but I wouldn't go back again. Please recommend me some recipe blogs for me to look around on, so that I can eat more and avoid homework. Thanks!

Autumn Update

Playing: Welcome to the Black Parade-The Vitaming String Quartet
Reading: Candide by Voltaire
I decided that this school year I will be better about people's birthdays and about holidays. Rather than just doing cards for people's birthdays, I now bake them something and I'm trying to be better about seasonal changes and holidays. After doing a food drive for a local charity, I stopped by Trader Joe's to grab some autumn-y flavored foods like pumpkin baked goods and apple cider along with a few pumpkins. When it gets colder, my family usually buys a few candles from CandlEssence for decoration too. I just wanted to share a few things that may (or may not) help bring the fall season into your home.
Last Tuesday, I hosted a huge Friendship Picnic at my school for over 50 students and it was Halloween themed. However, most people went as far as coming in black or orange for the picnic, while Sarah, Sophie, and I went over the top with our costumes. Sarah is Little Red Riding hood, Sophie is Kiki from Kiki's Delivery Service, and I'm Holden Caulfield from The Catcher in the Rye. Holden is one of my favorite fictional characters and I imagined him to look kind of like Robbie Wadge. I used this picture of Robbie in a hunting hat and this picture of him in a navy blazer for inspiration.

PS Congrats to Hannah for winning my giveaway! Thank you everyone for entering and I hope you'll win one of my giveaways soon.

One Last Time

Playing: Plug In Baby-Muse
Reading: Life of Pi by Yann Martel
Over Memorial Day weekend, I have been spending time at my beach house in Sunset Beach with my family, since we just sold it and wanted to spend some time there before we move out. While there, we decided to visit all the places in the area that we normally don't go to unless we're staying at this house including the San Pedro fish market. I don't remember the name of the restaurant I ate at, but pretty much all of the restaurants there offer the same dishes. For starters, we ordered a container of ceviche, which was fresh and flavorful, perfect for summer.
My favorite thing to order is the shrimp fajitas with vegetables and bread. They serve it all on a tray with onions, bell peppers, potatoes, and tomatoes topped with a spicy sauce that is just wonderful. Even though it's messy, it is definitely worth it and the bread is brushed with tons of butter and then left on the grill until crisp. Then you can use the bread to soak up the extra sauce and to pick up the vegetables. It's spicy and buttery and a must try if you are in the area.
The San Pedro fish market is in an interesting area too, lined up by the harbour. You can eat right next to the docks and look at the sea life below and afterwards, you can explore the little shopping area or drive to one of the nearby parks. Be warned, though: it can be very crowded and the lines can be long.
For the most part, I spend my time at the other house taking long walks on the beach or going kayaking with my dog. How cute is he? His name is Hobbes and he looks ridiculous in his doggy life jacket. He also has issues with taking pictures and rarely looks into the camera or stays still long enough to get a non-blurry photo. This is my first time moving and it feels weird knowing that I will never be coming back to this home. It feels weird to know that some stranger will repaint my room and that if I ever do walk into it again, it won't be my home and all my things will be gone. It's melancholy to know that I won't be jumping off the dock to go swimming anymore and that I won't go to sleep to the sound of waves. It's vaguely nostalgic and maybe I'll feel differently in a few years.

"You Are What You Love, Not Who Loves You"

Playing: Take You With Me-French Films
Reading: AP U.S. History Crash Course by Larry Krieger (Less than a month left to study for the AP test!)
Between meeting Andrew McMahon and Mary Katrantzou, I've been meeting a lot of people that I never thought I would even have the chance of getting within 10 feet of. Almost two weeks ago, I went to Nordstrom to meet Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren of Viktor&Rolf. Originally, I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get myself into the Flowerbomb signing event, but luckily a salesperson I knew let me in and pushed me to the front of the line. This wasn't half as intimate as the Mary Katrantzou meet and greet, since they were pushing people through the line as quickly as possible, but I still got a chance to briefly talk to them. Rolf told me I smelled good, which was ironic, since the party was for Flowerbomb and I was wearing Acqua di Gio.
Talking about compliments, I stopped by Milk and Honey to grab a Lychee Shaken Iced Tea and the guy working there let me cut in line. Not only did I get to the front of the line, but he also upgraded the drink to a size large for free and got my drink finished before serving the other people. He told me cute girls get served first, so I thanked him and awkwardly walked away. Since Milk and Honey is one of the best places for drinks, I hope he's there again. The line is always so long and I hate waiting.
Milk and Honey is located at the Camp just like Blackmarket Bakery, which serves exceptional pastries. Their Largo Citrus Tart is so wonderfully sour and I like how buttery the pastry cup is. Plus, they also sell interesting pastries from other distributors like this Cabernet Brownie made from wine flower. They basically made flower out of left over seeds and skins from wine factories, so the flower is rich with antioxidants and high in iron. Maybe it was just me, but I definitely sensed a fruity flavor to it that I think is from the wine flower.
Just to tie everything in this post back to the title, I love designers, tea, citrus flavored foods, and making my skin look flawless. Overall, my skin is pretty smooth, but I have some freckles and my coloring makes me look like I'm blushing all the time, so I like to use some foundation, BB cream, and other concealers to make my skin look more even. The Chanel foundation and cover up make my skin look the best, but when I'm feeling lazy, I'll use the Maybelline BB cream and Lancome concealer instead. I use the Lancome moisturizer everyday under my makeup and the Chanel lipstick only when I'm not feeling lazy. My makeup routine is super basic, but I just thought I'd share the products that I like using. Have a nice day! I need to get back to reading my English novel and studying for the APUSH exam.

Spring Break

Playing: Memories-Panic! at the Disco
Reading: A Clean, Well-Lighted Place by Ernest Hemingway
Last Wednesday, I had the amazing opportunity to meet one of my favorite designers, Mary Katrantzou, at Nordstrom. If you don't know her work, you definitely need to Google it right away. Her digital prints and imaginative silhouettes are so much fun to look at and I definitely want to buy something from her in the future. She was so friendly and if you wanted to, she could style you.
While I was there, I got her to sign a look book for me and asked her for some career advice, since I'm an aspiring fashion journalist. Mary and her assistant, who was also super helpful, gave me the names of a few colleges in England that would be good. She also told me that if I ever ended up in London to stop off at her studio and talk to her that way she can try to help me. Even though it's doubtful she'll remember me, I appreciated the thought and the advice. Also, the Lanvin store just opened at South Coast Plaza, so I stopped in and the saleslady gave me a look book, which is helping me practice my French with all the little details written in it.
After meeting Mary, I did some shopping, which I'll be sure to share with you later on, but I needed a caffeine kick. Lately, I've been having trouble staying awake and Starbucks' macchiatos have been getting me through the day. The layered flavors are what got me. It's like having three different drinks, so you're less likely to get bored with the flavor.
Later on, I ran off to a bonfire down at Corona Del Mar to celebrate spring break with Michael, Katy, Sarah, and a bunch of their friends. It was so much fun and we roasted everything from chicken McNuggets to hot dogs to marshmallows to homework. When it got dark, Michael (pictured above) and I danced to Madonna's "Material Girl" and other favorites like "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend." Sorry for the awkwardly posed photo; I didn't feel comfortable asking the other attendees if they'd be alright with me posting photos of them on my blog because then I have to explain to them that I have a blog and things go nerdy from there real quickly. Unfortunately, Corona Del Mar is thinking about getting rid of the pits, so I want to do another bonfire there at the end of the school year. I'm going back to school soon and I'm really sad about it, so now I'm off to enjoy what's left of my break.

Also, I found this ad for Prada Candy on Selina's blog and  you need to watch it.

Spring Break Update

Playing: Can You Feel It Tonight-One Night Only
Reading: Two Soldiers by William Faulkner
Left to Right: Kavya, John Paul, Sabrina, and Me
Right before holiday, a group of friends and I participated in our school's talent show. We did a dance, where the six of us dressed up as our favorite people from the 1980s and it was borderline school inappropriate. I've started to realize that I do a lot of things that are funny outside of school, but really inappropriate for school. We had John Paul (as Rick Astley) RickRoll the audience by popping out at the end of our performance and killing Sophie (as Lena) and then we had Josh (as Freddie Mercury) start stripping. Kavya (as Mick Jagger) and I (as David Bowie) did the gay scene from "Dancing in the Streets" in which they put their faces up to one another, so that left Sabrina (as a cat from the Cure's song, "Lovecats") as the only decent one in the group.
On the last day of school, Sarah and Sophie hosted a gangster picnic and craft day combo, where we all sat around and drew together, while having lunch. It was supposed to be gangster/wizard themed but the closest thing we got to grills was braces and the closest thing we got to wizards was a beard. It was still a really nice way to start spring break, though.
I left the picnic early to go to someone's birthday party, but they switched the location on me right when I showed up at the beach they told me to go to, so I was really upset and ended up going to Tea Station to eat away my anger. But seriously, I drove an hour there and back and wasted a quarter of a tank of gas to go to this specific beach only to be told they wanted me to drive to another location they weren't even sure of yet. I also paid $15 for five minutes worth of parking. I left a picnic early for them and skipped on another party for them.
The next day I went to Old Town Orange on a hunt for vintage jewelry, which proved to be more expensive than I willing to pay, so I hung out in my favorite Starbucks ever. This Starbucks used to be an old bank and it's beautiful inside, definitely a great place to hang out and I wish my friends would come here to study with me instead. By the way, have you tried their new layered macchiatos? They're so good!
On the same day, I decided it was time I ate healthier, so I went to Gelson's for their salad bar. Notice the lack of lettuce? It was all in my juice and it shocked me to take a sip only to realize that this didn't taste like apples, cucumbers, and lemon at all. Just because I like sharing tales of my travels with you, try pouring some balsamic vinegar on strawberries. I had that in Florence and it's such a good combination, even in pasta salads.
Just yesterday, I visited East Village in Long Beach, which is being praised as the next artist hang out and truthfully, I wasn't impressed. It's probably because I went on Easter, so nothing was open. Hopefully, I'll get the chance to go back and eat there on a day, when more action is taking place. It's steps from the beach has a few cute cafes I would like to try, so I'll definitely go back soon. Sorry for not commenting on your blogs lately. I haven't been on blogger for awhile, since I've been busy with school and being sociable lately. I'll get back to commenting as soon as possible!

"She Thinks I'm Much Too Thin, She Asks Me if I'm Sick"

Playing: Blackdown-Patrick Wolf
Reading: A Lion Among Men by Gregory Maguire
It seems like I get sick way too often, especially this school year. I've missed so many days at school that I'm starting to run out of ways to spend my sick days. Truthfully, sick days aren't fun like they were in elementary school, since I have to constantly worry about what I'm missing at school and have to work on school work, while I'm trying to get better now. I just thought I'd share with you some stuff I did on the weekend, when my cold started. I finally used my Barnes and Nobles gift cards to purchase the last two books in the Wicked Years and two books on Coco Chanel, while the JD Salinger books are late Christmas presents from Tina.
After my book trip, I went to Open Sesame for the best fried potatoes I've ever had. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these potatoes are great for any time. Although it's a bit sour from the lemon juice, I really enjoy the fresh flavors from the chili flakes, olive oil, and cilantro. I order this as a starter every time I go to Open Sesame along with a tamarind drink.
For my entree, I ordered their special, the Molokhia, which is shredded chicken and garden mallow leaves simmered in lemon juice, garlic, and chili flakes served on top of basmati rice. I know I said the potatoes are one of the best things I've ever had, but this seriously is too. As you know, I normally don't eat vegetables, but the mallow leaves were so flavorful and tender. All the flavors were fresh and unexpected yet very comforting. This is how you know I'm sick; it took me four meals to finish this. Whenever I'm sick, I don't eat very much and end up losing weight, which means I can go eat fattening foods later on to put the weight back on. (What a bonus, am I right?)
The area around Open Sesame, Belmont Shore, is so cute and dare I say it, one of the best ways to waste away a lazy afternoon. It's super family friendly and has all sorts of quirky shops. It has literally everything you would imagine California having such as: surf shops, Starbucks, independent stores, music stores, etc. It's not one of those must see attractions, but it's definitely a nice way to spend your afternoon. Unfortunately, I had to leave quickly since my cold was making me very tired. For more info on Belmont Shore, click here and here.

PS I got tickets to go see Andrew McMahon for the sixth time! I'm so close to reaching the double digits; it's great!

After Finals

Playing: Dammit-blink-182
Reading: Franny and Zooey by JD Salinger
Hello everyone! I just got back from semester break and am ready to blog some more. Luckily, I pulled off top notch scores in all my classes except physics, but then again, science is not my strength. Since I've been hoarding some photos and can't seem to come up with a coherent post, this update will have to do. A couple of weeks ago, I went to Balboa Peninsula with London, since he's new to the area and I'm working on exploring more.
This year I'm also working on trying to be more independent, which includes cooking for myself. Instant noodle isn't really all that healthy, but it's alright for snacks after you mix some Spam, some corn, some peas, and an egg into it. I recently got my drivers license too, so now I can go grocery shopping all by myself. Yay, freedom! But not really. I like going with my parents, since they always encourage me to buy more than I would by myself.
Here's some more proof that it may be possible for me to live on my own, when I go to college. Awhile back, my parents left my older brother and me at home, so I cooked Spaghetti alla Carbonara for us. The recipe I used was vaguely based off of Tyler Florence's recipe, but I made many changes to it, since I was just using whatever was in the fridge. It came out so well and I'm very pleased that I was able to multitask and cook everything separately at the same time without burning a thing.
Even though I've been trying to cut down on my wardrobe, I went off and bought a sheer rag and bone blazer. It's really light and made of a sheer fabric except for the back, which is a loose knit that looks almost like ribs on the back. I wasn't going to buy it, but then I thought to myself, "Oh, I need a summer jacket. I only have two other summer jackets." Did you see that? ONLY TWO? There's something wrong with my logic and I think my teachers agree...I'm thinking of creating an ebay account, so that I can sell all my clothes, but I really don't feel like going through the hassle of figuring out shipping prices.
Just to make sure my blog doesn't seem frivolously food and clothing centric, I thought I'd show you a photo from the day I drove out to the desert. The stormy clouds made for some interesting photos and added a more somber look to the rural areas I was exploring. Sometimes I think I want to live in a rural area and just be surrounded by the beauty that is nature, but I think I'd get lonely. I need to interact with other people otherwise I would either just stop caring about everything (and wear sweats everyday) or I'd withdraw even farther into my eccentricities.

Damn Teenagers

Playing: Hysteria-Muse
Reading: North Korean Posters by David Heather
Over holiday, Sophie and I had an art picnic. It gave us a chance to show off our colorful pen collections and to look at art books together, while drawing our own designs and planning out our adventure zine. We were sitting in the middle of a park and just the way we looked and acted, it made me think of one thing, "Those damn teenagers always have to one up each other with their weirdness." Sophie and I are pretty odd whenever we hang out with each other due to a plethora of inside jokes and a liking for all things pun related. Whenever we go into stores together, we always get stared at and it makes me wonder what the employees are thinking.
Some of the annoying things us teenagers do is order off the kid's menu, even though we're well over 12-years-old, just because it's cheaper. Sophie did just that at Ruby's and bought me a milkshake, which she has owed me for about four years now. The waitress gave us an odd look, when we ordered, so it just makes me want to read their minds.
After Sophie ate her snack, we went to go see The Perks of Being a Wallflower at the dollar theatre and I have to say, I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Sam and Patrick were nothing like what I expected, but I think I loved Patrick in the movie even more than I did in the book. The movie did a good job getting all of the book crammed into less than two hours, but there were two or three anecdotes from the book that would've improved the movie. Charlie was also well portrayed, especially considering that Charlie is a fairly complex character. What the movie really made me wish for though was a chance to have these amazing friends that go out with you and do wonky stuff. I really wish I had that sense of adventure and that sense of not giving a damn about life with my friends.
The day after Sophie's and my damn teenagers day, I went to Laguna Beach with London to explore and walk around. We went all over Laguna Beach and while we were walking around, I heard someone shouting my name and who else would it be other than Sophie? So there you have it, Sophie stalks me because she's obviously in love with me. Sorry about this post being kind of lame. I just wanted to get something out for you, since I'm currently searching through my photos, trying to muster up some sort of a post. However, I went back to Los Angeles yesterday, so there may be an interesting post coming up in the near future.

Fashion+The Killers

Playing: Be My Escape-Relient K
Reading: Style.com/print SS 2013
Hello everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates and posts; like I said before, nothing of real interest is going on in my life. My friend, PJ, started a fashion club at my school, so I joined. We pretty much just sit around and discuss runway shows, models, and clothes, but we also do some artsy stuff like drawing and painting. It's pretty fun and the teacher's room that the club is held in has all these old fashion magazines, so we get to rip out our favorite pictures. I loved the W spread with Lindsey Wixson and the haute couture spread with Karlie Kloss, so I had to rip out those photos.
Jessy was also at the meeting and I hadn't seen her in while, so it was nice to catch up with her too. She brought a little gift for me from the Marc by Marc Jacobs store. The ring is just my style-simple and slightly edgy-and the pen is also really cute. I brought in a Marc Jacobs bag to carry my yarn in to school one day and the next day I was carrying this bag around plus some Marc Jacobs ads, so the boys in English class asked me who Marc was. When I told them he was a designer, they exclaimed, "OH, that explains why he has bags and the ads revolve around clothes!" Oh mon dieu, boys!
You guys have all met my puffer fish, Jacques, already. Well, I like to spoil him and play with him, so lately I've been holding my new iPhone up to the tank, so that Jacques can watch music videos. He'll actually watch some of them, but so far I think he likes "Mr. Brightside" the best. It's the only music video, where he'll watch the whole thing.
By the way, the music video for "Miss Atomic Bomb" came out today and it's almost like a sequel to "Mr. Brightside." All of the cast from "Mr. Brightside" is present and the video just makes me so happy. The cartoon part was a bit cheesy, but I still liked the video and thought the concept was interesting. The best part is Miss Atomic Bomb and Mr. Brightside are reunited and it makes me go aww and get all mushy and love sick every time I hit the replay button on YouTube. Sorry for the complete and utter lack of technical terms in this post and the overuse of stereotypical teenage girl phrases, but seriously, the music video makes me get all love sick.
Who's your favorite music video couple or music video romance? I really love Mr. Brightside and Miss Atomic Bomb in case you couldn't tell.
